Description:

This route has it all, from wide flat gravel(Sands Basin,Succor Creek road, Leslie Gulch), to nice two track(Antelope Springs Rd from Sands Basin to Succor creek and many other places) to rocky and loose (around the middle end of the reservoir and Fisherman Rd) to tight twisty pavement (Owyhee Lake road from the dam heading north). Two hotsprings, one south of Leslie gulch and Snively hotspring north of the dam. Several small water crossings on Antelope Spring rd, and one big one crossing the Owyhee river near Snively hotspring. The track shows a few alternate routes, noteworthy are two ways of returning to civilization from Snively hotspring, one is all pavement and the other is mostly dirt. There is a water faucet at the campground and boat launch where Fisherman drops down to the reservoir and connects to Owhyee lake road. There is developed camping at Succor Creek campground, Leslie Gulch, and Owyhee State Park above the dam.
