Ride Description:

Now is the time to prepare for the upcoming riding season!  Before we fire up our bikes and blast out of town searching for parts unknown, we should take a minute to think about the possibility that things may not go as planned, that we may be stranded, or worse, injured.  We all have the responsibility of taking care of ourselves and our fellow riders as we travel out of the reach of immediate help. We should all know what to do and what to bring just in case it all goes wrong, which can happen very quickly, especially on a bike. To help us be as prepared as we can be, our own Dr. Craig Olsen will be presenting first aid basics, and the Idaho Mountain Search and Rescue Unit has volunteered to give a presentation to the club on being prepared for travel and emergencies in Idaho's vast back country.  Big Twin has offered to let us use their facilities,  snacks and drinks will be provided, and family members are welcome. There is no cost to attend, but we will be accepting donations for Idaho Mountain Search and Rescue. Hope to see you there !
