While this is the official name given this area, to the locals it is known as “Monument Rock,” “Flat Rock” or “Lookout Point.”  With an abundance  of loose slate rock on this point visitors have built numerous rock sculptures and various formations over the years, which you can enjoy and photograph when you visit.  The best way to get there is to take the Spencer-Kilgore Road turning north just west of Idmon past the New Kilgore Cemetery to the west end of Antelope Valley Road, then turn northwest on McGarry Canyon Road and follow Road 016 to your final destination.  This is a level 3 two-track road.  See the Motorized Vehicle Use Map for this area listed below.

Photo taken August 11.  Access to this site is definately for a small bike.  It is a tough, technical, rocky and steep ATV trail.
