On my return trip home from Glacier I detoured off the highway for High Valley and the church.,  The road is a little beat up in spots and its dusty!  Oh no jerky here.

After Pinehurst I continued north to High Valley. I saw more cows, a deer and lots more quail. After taking this photo I screwed up and didn't get my tank bag closed completely before I left. As a result my phone fell out and on to the pavemnet at about 45mph.

I didn't realize the phone had departed my bike for 5.2 miles. When I noticed what had happened, after much cursing, I turned around and rode slowly back to the sign. Not finding it in the grass, I started riding even more slowly, looking along the sides of the road. about 1/2 mile down I found it.

The protective case had been shorn from the phone. As was the back cover. The battery was another 3' past the phone. Surprisingly, the only real damage to the phone itself was to the camera lens on the back of the phone - it's completely smashed. But, since the rear facing camera is used for the Challenge photos - it was all good.
