Ride Description:

This past weekend I went out with Laurance Parsons, and we rode to Pilot Peak and out to Graham north of Atlanta.  There was some great scenery out that way, and a number of places we didn't quite make it to, including Sunset and Jackson Lookouts.  So I would like to get back out and hit these peaks before they have snow on them.

The plan is to meet at Rocky's on Overland for a bit of breakfast, and head out from Rocky's about 9 AM  We'll work our way up towards Idaho City by one of the million different routes up that way.  From Idaho City we will head up Bear Gulch to Pilot Peak, then down to Mores Creek Summit, and back up to Sunset Mountain Lookout.  From Sunset Mountain we will head back down to HWY 21 and run pavement up to Edna Creek and out to Jackson Peak.  If time/fuel allows we can wind our way back through Barber Flat, and possibly down to the Middle Fork of the Boise, or back out to HWY 21.
