Mayfield

27MAR2022: I found some old GPX tracks from a 2016 IAMC Poker Run and decided to ride it - with a few modifications. Two of this year’s Challenge Sites (10 & 21) were on/near the route, so I decided to knock them off the list. 

 

After an interesting 50 mile meander from the Fred Meyer fuel center at Overland and Five Mile through the Orchard Combat Training Center via South Pleasant Valley & West Range Roads, The Dude and I stopped for gas at the Boise Stage Stop. After topping up (never pass a chance for Gas) we continued east on well-graded dirt roads to Mayfield, where we choose to take our photos inside the Grange Hall.

 

After a bit more poking around we got on the bikes and continued east toward Challenge Site 10, Castle Rocks.
