Great weather, very little traffic, beautiful country but another locked gate. Easy to get around but I didn't think it appropriate to show the IAMC banner behind a locked gate!

Very nice day for a ride, a bit dry but cooler weather for sure. Not sure why the gate was locked but did repect it. Also rode to Deadwood City and Mine. Hike way up the hill and looked around. Nice view from the top,Got back down to the bikes, Lon and I made a GREAT meal with our Jet Boil stoves before we left. Rode 255 miles this day. I must say I really do LOVE my Fisher seat on my DRZ.

Long bad/sad story - needless to say this is the only photo that survived of my trip up Scott Mountain.  Not real close or good - but I was there.  Lots of USFS traffic.

You  could see The Halstead and Trinity Ridge Fires from the ridge below the lookout. This was the last sight on a 400 mile day.

Scott Mountain Lookout.  Locked gate.  Maybe visitors not wanted today.  With Les Francisco.  Still a good day to be in the woods
