Even the most inexperienced rider will feel comfortable taking their shiny new 1200GS or similar bike on a level one ride. Level one rides consist of all pavement and gravel road, with predictable corners, and generally flat grades. Riders will progress at slower speeds such as 30 m.p.h. or less off pavement.

Ride Description:

My buddy bought his first ADV bike, So I figured I would post up a ride,  We decided last night that we were going to go riding so heres the plan.  We are going to Start at the Kuna Shell gas station at 10 AM.   We are going  to follow Blacks Creek Road all the way to Prairie.  For those that are challengers we will be stopping at Long Gulch Falls.   I belive we can purchase food at the Y stop today,, (Google shows them open at 10  AM )  From there Depending on weather and time. We would head over to anderson Dam then down to Moutain Home.

Attention Adventure Riders!!  We are having our annual meeting and get together.  Door prizes, election of officers, Challenge Prize Drawings, as well as other discussions on club business.  Most of all a chance to say hello to old and new friends.  Feel free to bring the family as well as anyone interested in DS adventuring.  Everyone is responsible for their own lunch as usual.  Please be thinking about volunteering for club officer posisions and or nominations.  See you there!!

 Welcome to the first ever IAMC Scavenger Hunt!  The rules are simple, be the first "scavenger" to take pics of your bike and/or yourself in your riding gear with each of the items on the list. There is a $5 entry fee, paid through Paypal, with all fees going into a pot.

Ride Description:

 I am pleased to announce the first wheneveral IAMC Show and Tell night!  This event is perfect for anyone interested in seeing how and what everyone packs on their bikes for multi day excursions. Anyone interested in showing off their bike and camping setup, please feel free to show up loaded and ready to tell us all about your gear. An adventure on-road

Well, like most of us, Winter has had me riding on-road for the last few months, and sometimes not at all, and I am getting itchy.  So, when I had to go to Moscow, Idaho for work on February 28th, I chose to ride instead of drive.  What's more, I rode up Highway 95.  I left late on Sunday the 28th, and had booked a little cabin at an RV resort in Grangeville for that night.  The ride to Grangeville was fairy nice, with only one slushy area in the curvy roads around Cambridge, until I got just past Riggins.  Then, as the sky darkened with both the disappearing sun an
