Even the most inexperienced rider will feel comfortable taking their shiny new 1200GS or similar bike on a level one ride. Level one rides consist of all pavement and gravel road, with predictable corners, and generally flat grades. Riders will progress at slower speeds such as 30 m.p.h. or less off pavement.

Ride Description:

This is either a day ride, or an overnight for those who want to camp, out to Succor Creek Canyon/Campground and on to Leslie Gulch in the Owyhees.  If the weather looks like it will rain, we will postpone the date. But, if it's above freezing and dry, we'll go.  So, dress accordingly.  If we don't get enough people signed up this early in the year, we'll postpone it.  But, I may just go anyway, as I'm getting some serious cabin fever.

Ride Description:

Come get your tires dirty.  We won't make it all the way up but let's at least go have some fun.

I plan on riding up 8th street until we hit snow/mud.  I don't want to ruin the road so we'll turn around once we start hitting mud (or can't go no further).

I don't expect this to be a long or difficult ride so feel free to come along on pretty much anything that is motorized and only has 2 wheels.  :-P
