This ride will follow a route that I rode a couple of years ago.  We'll ride over to Horseshoe Bend and hit dirt on Harris Creek, up Alder Creek, up Scott Mountain Rd to Deadwood.  From there we will head toward Landmark and Warm Lake, up to Donnelly and over to No Business Lookout.

The return trip will be back roads west of Cascade Lake, over Dodson pass and back into Emmett.

Ride Description:

I believe all of the seasonal motorized trails are opening Sunday July 1st. I would like to go explore the Silver Creek/Bull Creek/Long creek trails system up to possibly reaching Warm Lake area. Pack it in/out. Hopefully have a campfire and tell some stories. May have to cut some logs out of the trail. Its all level 2 up the the summit, once you pass through the little width gate there will be some level 3 sections. After that I have no idea, I've never really been back there. https://goo.gl/maps/spMSZDNdANA2

Ride Description:

Trent Holderness and I are going on an over-nighter to tag a few Challenge Sites at Rocky Bar, the Aircraft Beacon and Crater Rings.  Meet up at 3:00pm, Friday, June 15th at Central District Health near Emerald and 5 Mile.  Kickstands up at 3:15pm.  We will camp out around Atlanta, visit the hot springs, then head up and over to Rocky Bar Saturday morning.  We plan on cooking dinner and breakfast at camp, but could be persuaded to eat a cheeseburger at Beaver Lodge if we get to Atlanta early enough.

Description:

Two of the 2018 IAMC Challenge Sites are difficult to get to because there are very poorly marked two-track roads to get to them in the Idaho Benchmark Map book, and no roads indicated in Garmin BaseCamp mapping software.  For this reason, I am including my tracks in a GPX file to these two sites.  These tracks begin at the Simco Road exit off of I-84 (Exit-74).  Take Desert Wind to Ditto Creek then east on Desert Duck to its end continuing past the turn-aroud and follow the rutted two-track to the Aircraft Beacon-26 GPS coordinates.  You will not see this site until you
