Description
Black Sands Resort and Campground is located at Black Sands Reservoir northeast of Mountain Home, Idaho, and makes a great stop or overnight destination for riders exploring the Bennett Mountain, Featherville, and Prairie backcountry areas. The reservoir sits in rolling high desert terrain with wide open views, and the resort offers camping, cabins, and a small store. It’s a good waypoint if you’re riding the backroads between Mountain Home, Anderson Ranch Reservoir, Prairie, and the Trinity Mountains. The area has a mix of paved and gravel roads, making it a nice destination for both larger adventure bikes and smaller dual sports.
