Love this view in the Spring (Green), Summer (straw), fall (brown), or Winter (snow & ice on the river)
Beautiful
Been here many times… it’s like the gateway to the best backyard anyone could ask for.
This view is amazing and never gets old. Watch out for open range cows.
Awesome!
Beautiful
Great view, and the ride down into the valley, over the bridge, and back out was well worth it.
Glad we came while there was still green on the hills. Amazing view!
Easy site to bag in between Boise and the Y-Stop!
Nice view
Always a good photo spot.
Great View.
best view in town
Still one of the most picturesque places in Idaho. Came home via Blacks Creek. That road is much better than it was 3 years ago!
Stop one of a 3 stop trip. Road was in great shape despite heavy Memorial day travel. Lovely late spring day with snow still on the mountains.
Beautiful at sunrise.
Classic South Fork photo op site. Ride was dust free, with little traffic on freshly graded roads. So much green right now!
Great place to take a pic. Road was in graded and smooth with no dust. First stop on a quick 170 mile loop with Norb
Snow on Rattlesnake Mountain! I believe that might be a first for Sam’s Ride.
Got a little squirrely in the sand but was a lot of fun and beautiful scenery
Nice finish to the Poker Ride
This is a must-see viewpoint.
Great ride, and incredible views. This is a 2, but watch out for some sandy sections. My front tire got a bit squirrely on a couple of spots.
This was the final section of our Poker Run.
Beautiful spring view! Roans back has some soft sandy sections
I love this place, to bad I had to be in to picture to ruined it.
Perfect day for the Prairie ride. The weather was perfect.
I pretty much ride with Justin. Other than some sandy parts it was a good ride
I’m unable to join the Sam’s Prairie Poker Run next weekend, so I went out earlier. It was busy out and very green.
Did a nice loop over to Arrowrock. Road was freshly grated deep sand/dirt in spots.
Nice ride, the road is little slick in places (deep sand). Great scenery nice and green.
I was slightly off in the location but within about 50 yards. The pinned location is a wide spot in the road. Where I took my photo is on a tennis-court-sized pull-out at the point of the road with a nice wide place to park and turn around (give me 40 acres and I’ll turn this Beemer around…..). Still, a pretty good view. From here back to the Blacks Creek pavement, there were numerous sandy sections on the nominally smooth hard-pack road. These sandy sections were just deep enough to get my attention. YMMV
