Check In
Use the form below to check in. Check-ins must include a photo of you or your bike at the challenge site with the 2024 bandanna. All participants must be registered IAMC Challenge Members. Leave a description of your ride and share road conditions — snow, water, obstacles, and tips for future riders are all appreciated.
Replying to another person's check-in is encouraged, but take care not to accidentally create your own check-in.

37 Check-Ins
Good times meeting new guys to ride with and hanging with old friends (some young guys too 🙂
Missed the picnic, but Alex said to get it done, so I did. Continued north to other challenge sites and made a long day of it.
I was there and got my bandana, I didn't get in the photo though because I had to leave early.
A great turnout, it was good to meet all you who showed up for the picnic.
Was nice meeting some more faces. I forgot to check in on this one! Rode in my rain gear but didnt need it!
I stopped into the cookout to get my bandana but didn't stay for the picture. So, I popped in again on the way back from Celebration Park.
Got my bandana from Alex and then had to leave due to a schedule conflict, but I was there!... the hamburgers smelled great! was sad I didn't get to eat one and chat more. Using the group photo for this one...
If you didn't make it, you missed some great food!
I tried to post the group photo with me in it, but it's not showing up, and I'm not getting an error message.

i wasn’t able to stay long but I got my bandana.
Here's my 3rd try at posting a picture. Resized to 772x1010, 23Kb.
This time, I noted that a thumbnail photo appears after pressing the "Submit" button. I didn't get that on my first two tries but then, I didn't know it was supposed to appear to confirm the attachment was successful.
I'm not talented, but I'm tenacious.
It was fun meeting people. I still think I should get a water crossing for to pond in the parking lot
I’m John Hart and I was grateful to acquaint myself with a bunch of new (to me) folks yesterday at the picnic, especially Cliff, Dave, Mike, Alex and Ron. Alex, I hope your son’s arm issue wasn’t too serious. I look forward to spending some road miles with y’all soon. Stay healthy!
I had a great time! Thanks to all involved for your efforts and I look forward to this years challenge! P.s. does the parking lot count as a water crossing ? ????
The conditions were wet, wet, wet. O'le Mother Nature gave us snow in April.
Photo is me with my daughter. Nice to meet some of you.
My 1st check in. Good to meet some of you and thanks to all that made it happen. I followed the snowplow down from Cascade this morning so no bike riding on this one. Looking forward to the weather cooperating with our riding season.
I made it! What a wonderful day it was sunshine, short sleeves and shorts NOT!! It was nice to meet some new people. I am ready to ride.
I came. I ate. I left.
Thank you Alex, Ron, and everybody else who helped put the picnic on. It was good to meet some new people and hear some good stories.
I got there just as you guys were packing up. Got my flag and made a trip down to celebration park. It was great to meet a few people!
Great picnic! Nice to see such a large gathering of like-minded friends. This will be a fun challenge year. I picked up my bandana and logged my first site of the year.
Thanks to everyone who came out for the picnic! Despite the weather not cooperating we had an excellent turnout.
Sorry for leaving early, as it turns out we had our first injury for the riding season. Silas ended up falling off the merry-go-round and broke his arm.
Had a great burger and saw some old friends and met dome new ones. In the group foto
It was great to see everyone at the Challenge Kick-Off Picnic. Foolhardy cleaned my Yamaha TW200’s carb and we had to buy a new battery this morning but we were able to make the chilly, partly rainy ride to the park. Picked up my first Challenge. Thank you to everyone that put the picnic together. It was great to see old friends and meet new ones. There was a nice water crossing in the parking lot to splash in. Foolhardy got to show off his tire changing skills on the side of the road while we were headed back to Caldwell. Then stopped by Lake Lowell to enjoy the view.
I arrived around 2:30pm and I guess you guys had just dispersed. Was able to grab a bandana from Alex. Hoping to be able to meet some fellow Challenge riders soon.
My first meetup. Good to see some familiar faces as well as lots of new ones. Looking forward to visiting as many of the challenge sites this year as I can.
Thank you for the organizing and catering, nice to see everyone. Hope to see a copy of the group photo!
I was able to get my flag and meet some new people. Thank for getting the 2025 year started! I made it in the Group photo but didn't take one personally.
I stopped by the park today as I will be leading a ride in Washington during the Kickoff Picnik.

I was the one eating all the beans.
Delicous.

Hey! Sorry you had issue uploading. I’m working on getting that fixed, you are not the only one who’s had issues. Appreciate your tenacity! This issue should be resolved soon. If you try posting and it doesn’t seem to go, just let it be. The pictures actually are uploading to our server, they just aren’t attaching to the post. I can attach them manually. Thanks again for coming, and it was great meeting you!
Thanks for kicking this one off!

Thanks, John! Turns out he broke it. 🙁 We went to St. Lukes and they got him set up with a splint. Most likely he will be getting a cast in the next couple of days. Last night was rough, but he’s in much better spirits today.
Made it to the kick off. Tahks for putting it together.

I guess we can count it…but is that really the kind of adventurer you are? 😉
