Check In
Use the form below to check in. Check-ins must include a photo of you or your bike at the challenge site with the 2025 bandanna. All participants must be registered IAMC Challenge Members. Leave a description of your ride and share road conditions — snow, water, obstacles, and tips for future riders are all appreciated.
Replying to another person's check-in is encouraged, but take care not to accidentally create your own check-in.
The stated difficulty is an estimate. Rating your experience helps future riders stay safe. You alone are responsible for the safety of your ride.
11 Check-Ins
It was a super cold, rainy, and muddy morning going from West Yellowstone, were I stayed the night, and across the Red Rock Lakes National Wildlife Refuge over to Monida on I-15. By the time I got to Hwy 324, the storm blow over and the sun came out. Cool spot.
I got this site on Alec’s 3 day 1300 mile ride. The first for day 3, it looks like its going to be a beautiful day.
Easy ride in, short stretch of dirt to get to the site. Really good view of the continental divide.
Hit this this morning. Nice ride over from Lemhi Pass avoiding the dogs on the way in. Left at 7 and it was 40 degress. Warming up fast though. Beautiful area. Didn't realize I had crossed into MT. Headed south back towards Leadore. When you hit the Idaho side the road appears to be recently graded so a little loose in spots.
Fun little ride today. This one is easy access. I came from the East side and I-15 at The reservoir. Just pavement the whole way
Due to the snow, I climbed Lemhi Pass from the west, then back-tracked and went down to Leador, and back up over Bannock pass to access the Shoshone Ridge Interpretive Site. Beautiful views of the entire mtn range. Roads were graded gravel, and easy access.

Lots of history to be discovered here.
Nice place for a snack
Good start to day 3! Worried about my chain still.
More history. Always interesting.

On my way to Bannock pass
