Hi all, my name is Ike and I'm a bit of a noob. I only have about 3000 miles total under my belt, but am hoping this Challenge will help change that. I'm riding a Royal Enfield Scram 411 on the road and a DRZ 400S on gravel/dirt. I am also currently healing up from a skiing injury so it's likely to be into early May before I'm riding again, but when I do my plan is just to start with the "#1s" and progress to the "#2s" and so on to see how far I can get in the season. I'm betting that between my low skill level and the size of the DRZ I will likely start to struggle in the #3s but we shall see.

My riding schedule will be a bit unorthodox as this summer I'm working 3 out of every 4 weekends. But I'll post up my plans and anyone who is up for weekday riding would be more than welcome, as long as you don't mind my toddling pace and endless questions.

See you out there,

Ike

Welcome Ike! This is a great place to hone your skills. Don't worry about trying to go fast, just try to go safe.

When I was a kid my cousins were all into motocross. They would make fun of me for being slower and not wanting to always race. At least they would right up until the point where early in the summer they would break something (arm, leg, collar bone, etc) and had to live with the fact that I got to ride all year.
