This time I went with Bob Roberts (Vstrom) and Ben Wald (690). We started as usual in Riggins and made it all the way round. The additional sections from last time were Imnaha to just north of New Meadows where the route joins the 95. There was an additional loop I had not done before which went up to Shaw Mtn Lookout which was pretty cool and well worth going to. This time we went up to HAt Point rather than Dug Bar and it was an easy out and back with pretty spectacular views. The section on Gladhardt Gulch Rd through Brush Mountain I had also not done and it got a bit squishy towards the North side of Brusch. Both Bob and I dropped our bikes skating in the mud, but low speed so no biggie. The initial part of Gladhardt however was pretty cool to ride through. We camped at Hells Canyon State Park (pricey) just south of Lewiston, Wallowa Lake State Park (also Pricey) and Copperfield campsite in Oxbow (cheap) and nice as it had warm showers 🙂 Two of the nights we set up in the dark 🙂
