Looked interesting but was hurrying to get the loop in. Another time. The other side of the snake is such a good ride.
This Owyhee county zone is really neat, I dig their single parking meter in front of the courthouse. I plan to actually wander inside the museum one of these days.
Second stop of the day in early June – perfect weather for a ride along the Snake River watershed. Hit seven sites on a 260 mile loop.
Took time to visit the museum.
defo worth going in if it is open. Had the biggest tri-tip sandwich ever for lunch from the guys outside 🙂
Pretty cool, well maintained museum.
Starting to get warm out
Was supposed to be my first of four sites for the day but didn’t quite work out as planned. This is an easy ride with pavement all the way until the parking lot. Too bad they were closed for the holiday.
It’s a museum, some great history about Silver City and some of the surrounding towns. Would like to actually find and explore some of the mines they go over.
Beautiful day for a ride all slab there.
Stopped by on a evening ride. We also tired to cross swan falls dam from the back side. Looks like a gate has been put up with signage
From Toy Pass, we rode to this museum. That highway is one of my favorite roads. We went inside the museum and had a nice time. The suggested donation is $5/person. The lady there was very friendly and gave us some water before we left.
Didn’t go in
Took shortcut across Swan Falls dam. Nice ride good museum.
I took a little look around, cool place lots of history.
Nice ride out, not open on Sunday so a turn and burn it was.
Nice day for a ride
Closed when I got there but it was a nice ride anyway. Cool little town out there all by itself
Enjoyed the ride and the great history of the museum had to offer. Easy ride from Kuna with all pavement along the way.
10th and last site for the day. I didn’t go in. I’ll have to go back sometime to check it out.
Easy ride paved all the way. Need to come back and spend some more time around the town.
Easy paved access. Notice the parking meter in front of the courthouse.
A lot of interesting history to share, I particularly liked the old cabin. Easy access off highway.
Wagon was missing.
Cool place! We didn’t go in this time, but last time I was in there they had a really cool spur collection on display. Like Cleo Museum up the road, I’ll have to stop in and stay awhile at this place.
Great little museum if you have the time to explore. They have revamped a lot in the last few years and the current director has done a wonderful job with ongoing updates.
