Hello, my name is Christal! I live in Mountain Home and I'm not new to riding but I am new to adventure riding. I just purchased a new 2026 IBEX 450 and am looking forward to drving into this new world of motorcycling! I found this group on a very old post in FB but was happy to see it still exists. I'm looking forward to interacting with everyone and maybe doing the challenge ride at some point. Any info I can gleen to get started would be amazing. Is there also a FB group for motoidaho?

The challenge is in full swing and I'm sure you could still sign up if you wanted. You can speak to our president Alex Crane (@crane550) to pick up your bandana. Also keep an eye out for group rides on the FB page. Our ride coordinator this year (Alec Chattaway) is often posting both here and on FB.
We also generally have two meetups per year. One to kick off the challenge, and another to reap the rewards and close out the season.

Welcome Cristal! Riding out to these challenge check-in sites is super fun. You grow both your riding skills and navigation skills while going to places that others from the club have already left pictures and notes about how difficult the ride is getting there. Alec even left GPS tracks for us to use finding some of the more hard to find places, i.e., the F4-U crash site west of Grassmere.
